The new release
After academic versions, the new commercial version of Orchestra Control Engine is finally available.

The new commercial version: Orchestra 1.0

Orchestra v1.0 can be used for commercial purposes. For more information you can read the commercial license and contact us.
Orchestra v1.0 can also be freely used for research and test purposes.

The new commercial version has been improved with new functionalities as to previous version.

Builder:
- Microsoft Windows support (by means of OrchestraCrossTools);
- matrix parameters support;
- signals and parameters properties support;
- user versioning;
- minor code generation optimization.

Core:
- system and user versioning of XML and DLC files;
- new DLC macros and runtime checks;
- added measure unit support for outputs and parameters;
- Core priority modifiable from command line;
- new Control Loop statistics added;
- added multiCore/multiModules connection feature to MbxModule library;
- added logging feature to NameServer;
- added system-wide symbolic links to executables;
- many enhancements and bugfixes.

Designer:
- Microsoft Windows support;
- new workspace structure;
- new cut and paste feature;
- added a DLC editor;
- added build feature for DLCs;
- added import XCL functionality;
- user versioning.

Drivers: Sercos and Mechatrolink hard realtime drivers.

HMI:
- added authentication functionality;
- added network file explorer;
- added administration panel;
- RTM panel to monitor running PLC projects;
- various enhancements and bugfixes.

Interpolation Modules:
- modified the linear/circular interpolation modules interfaces
  (Standard Cartesian Interpolator, Advanced Cartesian Interpolator and Cartesian Interpolator with Geometric Look Ahead);
- added the jog module;
- added the B-Spline interpolation module and the NURBS interpolation module;
- added the Motion Supervisor module to manage the different interpolators;
- added the Selector module to correctly select the output of the active interpolator.

Kinematics Modules:
- added a new module for the control of cartesian redundant manipulators.

Logic Programming: a new software to develop logic control programs in Ladder and SFC languages.

RTOS: new Linux/RTAI/RTnet/Comedi packages for i686 and Pentium 4.
